My sister Rachel is into vintage, folksy things. She recently took up cross stitching, is crocheting a blanket, and likes old colorful tins and crocks. I found some inspiration her gift online, and even though there were a couple of days during the week before Christmas when I wasn’t sure I’d be able to finish this project well (or in time), I am pretty pleased with how it turned out.
A while ago, Jeth and I bought an old dictionary for a dollar at a local flea market, just for using on crafts like this. The entire gift is made of paper and glue, and lots of hours of paper quilling. I’ve made quilled paper snowflakes before, but this was just a little more complicated. I’m so thankful for everyone who has written how-to’s on something like this!
